Multi Luminaire
Laundry rooms don’t get a lot of attention because they’re often located in a closet or the basement. Whether you have a big or small laundry room, we have some practical ideas to inspire you.
A rod or retractable clothesline is a practical way to dry our clothes. A foldaway or ceiling-mounted drying stand and a pole with hangers hung above your appliances is also very convenient. Never again will you need to dry your clothes on the shower pole! If you don’t have much storage in your laundry room, consider installing a cabinet with drawers between or near your appliances. That way, you can neatly store all your cleaning products. Add original decorative accessories such as wooden boxes to stow away household products or wall hooks to hang your ironing board. These elements will lend character to your room.
Sometimes, it’s a big challenge to hang clothes up to dry in a small laundry room. If you’re lucky enough to have an entire room dedicated to laundry, add a built-in cabinet to maximize storage. And, while you’re at it, why not add baskets to hold dirty laundry, a drawer for drying clothes flat, a hanging rack as well as a retractable ironing board in a drawer.Keep in mind that it’s probably a good idea to have various baskets handy in your laundry room. A laundry basket on wheels or rails, especially one with multiple bins, will help you sort and store dirty laundry and help you save time. Your clothes will be sorted and ready to be transferred to the washing machine. Finally, set up a small basket near your washer and dryer, so you have a handy spot for the contents of pockets like keys and change or even mismatched socks !
