Multi Luminaire
Your teenager's room becomes their universe since it’s a space filled with familiar and safe items. It goes without saying, then, that their room should be a relaxing place that fosters the discovery of new interests. However, it also needs to be a place that’s conducive to study. It’s important to establish a good lighting scheme so your teen's decor is both functional and comfortable.
General lighting options:
1- Ceiling lights: They provide efficient and uniform lighting due to the circular arrangement of their bulb bases. They are available in an array of colors and textures that are sure to match the decor of your teen's room!
2- Pendant lights: It’s important to leave a 7-foot clearance from the base of the pendant to the ground to avoid the risk of anyone bumping onto it. Pendant height is easy to adjust by shortening the length of the chain, rods or wire. Here are a few original pendant light ideas:

Accent lighting options:
1- Table lamps: They’re very practical on a bedside table and serve to complement the general lighting. They’ll inspire your teenager to read their favorite book while lying comfortably in bed!
2- Reading lamps: It’s essential to have a good reading lamp on a work table or desk. They allow a student to tackle many hours of study without damaging or straining their eyes.
3- Floor lamps: If you find that the lighting isn’t sufficient, add a floor lamp where the room lacks brightness.
Tips & Tricks: Create a space that’s conducive to studying!
Turn a corner of the room into a dedicated study and homework space. If there are enough dressers in the room to store clothes and your teen’s closet isn’t used as much, repurpose it to create a desk, if its size is appropriate. Fit shelves inside the closet space to make full use of the height, so school supplies and books can be stored on them. Use a ceiling light, mural lamp or reading light to light the desk space.
If you use one corner of the room as a study desk, add a colourful floor lamp or pendant light to better define the dedicated study space. Check out these colourful pendants and floor lamps that are sure to brighten up any bedroom decoration.
