Bordered to the north by the Lanaudière and Laurentian regions and to the south by Montreal, Laval is the third most populous city in Quebec. With its many shops and restaurants in its downtown area, called Centropolis, Laval has grown thanks to its three metro stations connected to Montreal and to Place Bell. The Laval region specializes in electronics, metallurgy and pharmaceutical products.
