1- In a stairwell, a beautiful chandelier or pendant light is absolutely appropriate. Focus on the length of the fixture to enhance your staircase’s space as much as possible.
2- For corridors, you should install a light fixture (flush mount ceiling light, semi-flush ceiling light or pendant light) every eight to ten feet. Regardless of the type of fixture, make sure to leave a seven-foot clearance between the floor and the bottom of the fixture.
3- To decorate the walls of your corridor and maximize lighting, consider adding wall sconces every six to eight 8 feet, 60 inches from the ground.
